Register Me on THIS Computer

NOTE: IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING A COMPUTER THAT IS NOT PERSONALLY YOURS, DO NOT REGISTER. It is not just you that is registering. It is you and your computer!!

If you register using some else's computer, that someone else will have access and you will not.

"Register Me on THIS Computer" button will do 3 things.

1. We will register you to this website by storing the submitted information securely on the website. The information is only used to identify and secure your hiking routes and tracks. It is never sent anywhere else.
2. We will register your computer ( specifically your logon to your computer that is being used right now) by storing the hostname with a cryptographically secure code which uniquely identifies your computer. Hence the warning above.
3. We will "hardware link" your computer (ie your logon to your computer) to this website by storing the cryptographically secure code in point 2 as a cookie on your machine. It will be stored as an erybus.com cookie and is called iamregistered.

Note 1. If you remove erybus.com cookie from your machine, you are still registered but your computer is not. You must re-register your computer as an "alternate device" to gain access on this machine.

Note 2. The cookie lasts for 1 year then is removed automatically.

Note 3. Removing the erybus.com cookie from your machine is not a good idea. opens a device slot on the website. This means someone else who knows your email, name, and phone number could register their machine under your name on the website. For security, you should always have all the device slots full with cookies on your machine and not leave it open for others.
